Can You Skype Art?

Jen-why does it:

a)Always have to be a Scott Lawrimore artist?

b)Always have to be Seattle trying to make yesterday's New York, Berlin, or LA art instead of today's Seattle art?

c)Always have to be a coyly contrived, self consciously compiled, pseudo intellectual agenda of the expected and unispired?

d)Always lack and never succeed with great craft or technique?

Why, oh why, Jen?

p.s. I found your comment on Seattle's 'affordable artists' at the fair who when juxtaposed against the big name artists from the big name markets providing you a telling or enlightening comparative moment for you as to their quality or worthiness, provincial, laughable and kinda sad.

I proposed this concept as a performative artwork at Tacoma Art Museum to solve for how to run sound and video from Untitled (The Wave) into a viewing space at another location within the museum. The environmental controls wouldn't truck with an open Untitled door... to recapitulate, the proposal wasn't selected.
