See, being gay doesn't have to be your whole life. Some people put being a white supremacist first, or being a Christianist first, and being gay second. Sure they want equality but not if that means seeing women or blacks or Muslims treated with respect.
2
These twits will be screaming their Heil Trumps right into the gas chambers.

Oh, and apparently politicians vote with their party platforms about 82% of the time.

what the fuck does a 21 year old know about anything

To be fair, Islamic countries in a general way, and terrorist extremists in particular, are far more stridently anti-gay than the GOP could ever hope to be. Say what you will about Trump, but he's not going to be beheading homos any time soon (well, probably not, anyway). So if you believe Trump will be more vicious toward those groups, and you find Clinton's internationalism to be ineffective while you watch gay people getting thrown off buildings and stoned in the streets, does it matter if some bogus "platform" that isn't actionable or binding, and which thusly nobody pays attention to, is anti-gay?

It's really not that hard to understand. Enemy's enemy = friend.

Could someone explain that first line of the platform.

"Strong families, depending upon God and one another, advance the cause of liberty by lessening the need for government in their daily lives."

That's just weird. Since it's in reference to gay families, isn't it sort of victim-blaming? Like, "we wouldn't have to get the government involved if you would just stop trying to make your sinful sinful families!" It's also a lie that "straight" families (shortcut for one man/one woman) are more successful and therefore need less government intervention, as Heidi said. Also, it ignores the plight of poor, straight families, who actually do sometimes need government help, job creation, career advancement programs and educational opportunities. Such a weird, unrealistic, unscientific fantasy world these people live in. I mean, I agree reality is scary (so I have some sympathy for my conservative brethren), but it's pathological to so consistently pretend things are true when they're not. (As adults, I mean).
Over 30 years old and it still accurately describes the liberal viewpoint. Its intelligence. Its desire to problem-solve. Its empathy. Its inclusiveness.

@4, Do you think Trump, or the Republicans, are against Islam/Moslems because of their stance on gay rights?

@5, there's supposed to be a space/paragraph before my lead-in to the video. That's Mario Cuomo's speech in 1984.
7
Also, WHY make a platform that nobody pays attention to or is going to act on?? I am really pretty baffled here. If you're a Republican and believe that shit, then why wouldn't you want to act on it? And if you don't believe that gay families are "less," then why would you say it?

@4

Ah. So you're theory is that LCRs can't be arsed to give any fucks about American blacks, Latinos, women, Muslims, American poors,... but show them some homo getting lynched off in Eye-fuck-istan, and then all of a sudden they have this huge outpouring of compassion for others? Even if LCRs believe that Trump's combination of no diplomacy + no boots on the ground + lots of cock wagging really is going to somehow save gays in Syria or Iran from anything, how many fucks does an LCR give about *those* fags? How can they have so much concern for far away foreigners they saw on TV yet none for gay kids in America who don't have the money and status to insulate themselves from discrimination?

Yeah, sure I guess that's really what's going in in their minds. But it is not easy to understand how anybody could be that surgically selective with their generosity and basic decency. A mind that works like that is some kind of wonder of nature.

I guess even President Trump can tolerate a few homosexuals - heck this nation has tolerated an obvious homosexual in the White House with a drag queen "wife," so thanks to the illegal Kenyan Marxist/Fascist in the White House, the bar is pretty low.

Yet, I am all in for Trump. I am ALL ABOARD The Trump Train. Here's why:

Here's why...

I don't agree with him on every issue, but he does hit on the most important issues facing this nation.

We're being overrun with foreign invaders - mostly at the bequest of the illegal Kenyan currently occupying the Whitehouse.

Trump promises to stop that and it is well within the president's legal powers to do so. In fact the Constitution makes it clear that it is the president's responsibility to do so.

Our immigration policy is also flawed and needs to be revised so as to recognize the threat that is Islam.

Once again, taking such action is well within legal presidential powers; although an official change (in policy) will largely depend upon Congressional action.

Law Enforcement personnel are under constant threat - largely because the illegal Kenyan currently occupying the Whitehouse has gone out of his way to encourage the criminal element who target law enforcement for assassination.

Trump has promised to reverse that and stand with law enforcement.

The past 7+ years have seen an administration that is lawless, divisive, and Marxist/Fascist/Socialist/Communist - an administration that is at odds with the ideals set forth (by the founders) and made our supreme law.

Trump genuinely loves America's expressed ideals and recognizes the inherent danger of political correctness (a means to silence opposition to the far left). He will enforce our laws while protecting the Constitution.

Trump recognizes the danger of the establishment class (in both major parties) and will root out the corruption that runs rampant amongst the establishment.

Trump recognizes the fact that freedom works when it is allowed to thrive and that the best way to insure a thriving economy is for government to get the hell out of the way.

Trump isn't perfect in my opinion, but he may well be exactly what is needed at this stage in the USA.

At any rate, he is vastly superior to Hillary Clinton.

But that isn't really saying much.

That is when he isn't trying to convert children to homosexuality, or when he isn't practicing it himself with his "wife" named Michael.

So I expect lots of tax cuts, since that is the only way to stimulate the economy, as Ronald Reagan so ably demonstrated in the 1980's.

@9, good one. I genuinely LOLed.
11
@OMFG, where have you been the last 8 years? You're like superman in reverse, appearing during presidential election years to make life insufferable.
13
Thats directed @9, bien sûr.
14
@13

Practice saying "President Trump."
15
@14: "Sad Orange Sack"
How's that? :D
16
Yiannopoulos is yet another example on the mountain of evidence that everything related to Breitbart.com is best ignored.
17
Re: @9 Someone needs to shrink that shit stat. Don't delete it just put most of it behind a *continue* option. That's lot of real estate to scroll by.
18
@9 You need to go get some penicillin stat, before the syphilis eats what's left of your brain!
19
Can we all agree that Yianopoulos is not hot? He acts like he's hella hot, and puts of his detractors as just being jealous of how hot he is and how fabulous he's life is. And...I'm not trying to body shame...or be one of "those gays" who prefers hot people to not hot people...but it needs to be said that the man is not hot, and said in some extremely definitive fashion.
20
@16: Use open and close tags to break up the URL so it doesn't turn into a link that someone might actually click on. Like so:
Breitbart.com
becomes
Breitbart.com
with no hyperlink produced.
21
@20 I 'actually' deliberately visit Breitbart now and then but when I do I keep a bottle of eye bleach handy. Nevertheless you're right if one were to accidentally click on that without a handy bottle of eye bleach the results could be tragic. Better safe then sorry.

22
@20: Ah, that's smart. I believe you mentioned this in the past, and I didn't understand or didn't remember. I got it this time though. Thanks!

Please wait...
