I've decided the demise of A. Birch Steen was the beginning of the end of Seattle being a cool place to live. I used to think it was when Sit 'n Spin went away but when The Stranger killed off their ombudsman marks when Seattle had truly crossed the Rubicon.

Now it's $2,200 studio apartments, watery-ass $12 cocktails happily consumed by a sea of Lumbersexual Gluten-Free Vegan Brogrammers and their goddamn pumpkin spice.

Fuck this town.
