Analog calls itself "a modern American coffee shop," and the slightly faded and very Instagrammable flag near the main counter reinforces this description. The rest of the cafe also pays homage to a time and place that few remember; when comic books, newspaper and records ruled supreme, and the digital age hadn't yet come into existence. So when you go to Analog, leave yourself some time. Treat yourself to a donut next door at Top Pot, and then head back to the cafe to eat it leisurely with a cold brew on tap (Analog was apparently the first Seattle coffee shop to install a tap system). Leaf through the various newspapers and magazines that adorn the place, and admire the impressive stacks of records, taking up space just like they should.
