Man, Katie Herzog is turning into the new Charles Mudede. It's like, I mostly agree with her opinions but she's such an annoying, horrible writer I'm being conditioned to cringe every time I see her byline.
@2 oh nooooo Keenan C. doesn't like me!!!! I'm clearly unqualified to write for The Stranger if Keenan C. says so. Guess I'll turn in my notice and go back to working at 7-11. Thank you SO MUCH for helping me see the light, Keenan C!!! What a hero.
@6 No, I think he's just an asshole. What in the world motivates you people (YOU PEOPLE) to come here and insult the actual human beings who create all this free #content for you every day is just beyond me. I think I'll find out where Keenan C. works (Amazon? Walmart?) and go to his work and tell him how terrible he is at it. Apparently that makes people feel better about their own lives? Gonna try it asap.
This seems like an over-the-top and immature response to a negative comment on your article. I mean, you have a byline in a semi-widely read paper, you have a distinctive viewpoint and voice that you regularly share, and some percentage of the stranger readership doesnât care for it. Negative feedback is kind of a given. And have you seen the state of the Stranger comments section? Keenanâs not even in the top 10 assholes. Iâm sure itâs irritating but if youâre going to respond to insulting comments you at least need to find better material than âlol u probably work at Walmart I should come yell at you.â
@9 I have no problem with people not liking my work. In fact, expect it. Some people like Jesus, some people like Mohammad, some people think it's all bullshit. Preferences and opinions are absolutely fine. What I have a problem with is people coming to my job and being unkind to both me and my colleagues, seemingly just for the joy of it. Why would anyone do that?
