I used to think Mondays at Bumbershoot were the best. But today was pretty lackluster. No crowds or lines, which was great, but the music lineup was pretty weak.

Oh noez. Nikkita is having a "crisis!"

Just knowing Nikkita Oliver was there on stage is enough to make my dick go limp. No wonder ticket sales were down. It's rock n'roll in a chastity belt.

""Some other conversation is going to be here and it’s probably going to be more white, less queer, less revolutionary," Wong-Wear said"

It's like a spoof of wokiness from the half white, half chinese upper middle class girl who went to $40,000 a year Seattle University.

Nice advertisement for Fleet Foxes.....
The whole Olliver/Wong thing had no reason being included. Stop trying to push a failed narrative.

@4 that's just tuition. Add another $15K a year and Wong Wear has a $200,000 + undergraduate degree in African studies so she can lecture everyone else about wokiness and equity. She oozes so much privilege she probably had to learn to hate her white dad to get over it.

Oliver came third place in the mayors race!

she’s the tallest midget in the room!

I remember discovering Fleet Foxes at 15. The dinky little crypto-quaker school I went to is set right into a greenbelt, you go from suburban nowhere to these really dense woods in seconds, dense enough that some areas barely received any sunlight at all. We had a hiking elective that I took, and I would just listen to their eponymous album over and over while I hiked. My husband & I bonded over them, I had them on as I showed him around the state for the first time.

Sadly, I couldn't make it to this show. I wanted to, but no way am I paying $150 just for a crappy spot for an hour. Last year's lineup was jaw-dropping, this year, pass.
