Before Abbi Jacobson was a part of the famed Broad City duo, she was an art school nobody with an interest in video art and illustration. When Jacobson moved to NYC, her comedy career took off faster than her illustrations, and so she stopped pursuing visual art to get that Comedy Central gold. But Jacobson's new podcast, A Piece of Work, is a return to her interests.

In each episode, Jacobson explores the MoMA's collection with some of her "creative friends," aka famous celebrities like Hannibal Buress, RuPaul, and wunderkind Tavi Gevinson. Produced by WNYC Studios and MoMA, the podcast premiered its first two episodes this week and... it's good!

A Piece of Work has all of Jacobson's best qualities. It's relatable, spunky, and it's fucking funny. The episodes are breezy, coming in around 15 to 20 minutes each. While her millennial chattiness may not win over everyone (in the first episode, she jokes that Duchamp "is so Williamsburg"), it will excite her fans.

The 10-part podcast series will continue to release episodes every Monday and Wednesday. Listen to the first two episodes below.
