Ashley Nerbovig writing about Bad Apple #1 (Patrolling an Ex) is like if The Stranger hired Donald Trump to write about how someone else busted for trying to overthrow an election is bad. Should The Stranger be critical of DV abusers? Yes. Should they have someone who was arrested and charged with multiple similar DV offenses write that criticism? Not if they want to be taken seriously.

If officer #2 and #3 represent bad apples, then SPD is in better shape than I thought (and glad stalker cop was fired). Maybe a slow day?

Paying Cops more money isn't the answer. Convicting AND JAILING criminals instead of letting them back out on the street to cause more havoc is the answer. These cops are tired of risking their lives arresting often violent criminals only to see them released. As a citizen, I think it's shit too. There is being progressive, and there is being a doormat. Let's not be doormats.
