What is the QAnon demographic? It's totally outside my bubble. And I mean my bubble encompasses all of the trolls who trollily troll here -- not even they are dumb for this one. That they've admitted in my sight.

I randomly encountered QAnon through Reddit, by clicking the "Random" button on the site. I couldn't understand anything I was seeing, it was so completely incoherent. It seemed like a subreddit to simply collect conspiracy theories, but none of them had anything to do with one another, as far as I could tell. By the time I gave up, I got the feeling QAnon was more akin to Nostradamus than Deepthroat: throw out every conceivable theory, and at least one or two are bound to sound right by simple chance.

What I find most disturbing about the QAnon thing is the FACT that this administration has ACTUALLY kidnapped children and are putting them in detention centers where they are getting sexually abused - it is documented. Yet they either don't give a shit about that or call it fake news!

When they're not absolutely inexcusable for ruining innocent people's lives, these conspiracy theories are genuinely really creative. I love lateral thought, when I was 18 and 19 I read everything Terence McKenna wrote and listened to as much of him as I could stand, so I respect the act of connecting dots nonsensically. I don't respect why they do so or how they connect them, though. It's a tragedy to see my favorite art form used this way.

Where's McKenna when you need him most? This country is in absolutely dire need of another neurochemical revolution, we've gone bonkers in the worst way on opiates and yellow journalism. We need tryptamines in the water supply ASAP.

May the Blue Wave thoroughly clean up all the repulsive shit in the White Trash House and all three branches of government.
