Warren came across as your stereotypical slippery eel of a politician by repeatedly refusing to explain the financial details of her health care plan. Plus she has a track record of letting Trump play her like a cheap fiddle (see how easily Trump trolled her on the Native American ancestry issue). She's a weak candidate. Nominate Warren and enjoy four more years of Trump.

@1: ...says another trolling sexist dolt paranoid about ever electing a women President of the United States. Gee--what would we have with a President Warren or Pelosi? World peace? Sustainable living? Slowing of climate change with use of reusable energy over fossil fuels? Full corporate tax accountability? Wage equality? Affordable healthcare, education, and housing? Take off that ridiculous MAGA cap before you lose any more brain tissue.

@2 Auntie, who's being sexist here? Have to agree w @1's first sentence. Warren is not being transparent at all on Medicare for All. And this is the max explainer at work. She's blowing her candidacy right out of the water. Too bad, too - I had thought she was the only D with sufficient charisma, integrity, experience (though light on foreign policy, but who needs that anymore?!), honesty and policy chops. Now I'm in doubt. Again.

Just to cool your sexism antenna jets for a sec, my previous fave was Klobuchar, though she's a tad conservative for me and then imploded with her personal instability. I have my sexist moments, but in politics not usually: My disdain for Hillary Clinton was purely on substance and integrity - of course, my disdain for Trump was even greater so I held my nose and voted for her.

@1 & @3: I don't know about either of you, but I'm truly ready for a President Nancy Pelosi if not Elizabeth Warren.

Ms Herzog appears to be adopting the stealth strategy that got the Religious Right control of so many school boards three decades back. Yawn.

I'll say now what I said four years ago. Draft Sen Baldwin.
