Beck has always seemed to be somewhat of a troll. I would not be surprised to find out that he doesn't really believe much of what he is saying and is just seeing how far he can go and how much money he can make.

You left off the open calls to murder Obama:

That are spreading like mad. Search online for 1861 as well, and how the Tea Party is now calling for civil war outright. My prediction 40 days ago that the US would fracture into three nations? Closer and closer... and good riddance to the midwest and south, if so.

So when will Beck join party leader Rush Limbaugh in exile in Costa Rica?

We're waiting ....

Giffy, I know the guy pretty well, and you're absolutely bang-on.

I love it when white Republicans say there's no more racism.

We crushed a rebellion 145 years ago. We'll do it again. Tell the tea-baggers that the US has guns too. Bigger ones.

Federal Way man vows to murder Obama:

Is it possible Beck just doesn't get the joke?

In that last piece from the National Review, the author refers to the Wal-Mart "all black people leave the store now" incident as "a potentially offensive comment". Potentially. What a dick.

The decibel level is high, but I am not worried about anything anymore. For about a year I've felt the political situation was under an eclipse, but now I finally feel that the luminaries have parted ways and the light has returned. It is fitting that the passage of health care should coincide with Easter and the Vernal Equinox; it has the feeling of resurrection, of rejuvenation and of birth. Emotionally, the bill has taken on the shape of a child; after a long and treacherous labor in which it nearly died many times and threatened to kill its mother, the final hard push has delivered it safely to us.

Well he's too stupid to understand Network, that's obvious. Has he even seen the entire movie? Hopefully, his show will end the same way.

Yeah, I can't help but see undertones of Bush in all this teabaggery: bad information, lies to scare people into agreement, the suggestion if you're not with their agenda, well, then you hate America.

It's all bullshit. But the biggest lie of all is that they're somehow different than the Republicans that just ran the government for 8 years. Don't be fooled: they are exactly the same people and they will do the exact same things if elected again.

@6:

We won't really even be needing those guns this time around.

All we'll need to do is cut off their cable TV, "temporarily" discontinue deliveries to major fast-food chains and convenience stores, and refuse to allow any member of an NFL or NASCAR team to cross the border.

They'll crumble within two weeks.

#1 - As far as Beck et al, I think of them as the professional wrestlers of journalism. Over-the-top, chair-throwing, giant-belt-buckle-wearing, and for entertainment purposes only. Of course, there are always plenty of people who swear professional wrestling is REAL, and those people are scary.

I wonder if the Secret Service have talked to that guy in Federal Way?

Please wait...
