According to the city's 911 log, there have been four separate responses to a "Fire in Building" at 1201 3rd Avenue, the site of the WaMu Tower (if it's still called that) and above the transit tunnel. It appears from the 911 log that 18 units (including six fire engines and two ladder units) have been dispatched to the site. Seattle Fire Department spokespeople have not answered phones.

Anyone know what's going on down there?

UPDATE: SFD spokeswoman Dana Vander Houwen says that there was a fire in the pump room. "There was initially a big response," she says, but many of the responders were released when it was clear everything was under control. "It's a high rise building so it requires more response than for a house fire."

Back to work, everyone.
