It's easier to recall the number of summers that have passed by than the number of winters. The winters in our mind's memory are like one massive cloud. And each winter we encounter increases the mass of this darkening cloud. The summers in our mind, however, are like suns in the sky of a fantastic planet. Each summer we encounter adds yet another sun to this brightening sky. Summers are also faster than winters. Three summers can go by just like that.
