If you've scanned our primary endorsements, you know we have a bit of a crush on 34th District challenger Joe Fitzgibbon. Our crush has appalled a few people—not because we're objectifying Fitzgibbon instead of focusing all our attention on The Issues, but because some people don't think he's the hottest guy running for office. For instance, Scott Sizemore—who's challenging incumbent Jim McDermott for the 7th Congressional seat—doesn't "get" our attraction to Fitzgibbon.

I ran into Sizemore at an event last night. He was in the mood to argue—not over our endorsement of Jim McDermott over him—but with Fitzgibbon's touted hotness. You see, Scott Sizemore thinks that Scott Sizemore is the hottest guy around. "I'm more cut than he is," he said. "And I've got a prettier face."

"Prove it," I said, and then he made this face:

Scott Sizemore is a poser.
  • Scott Sizemore is a poser.

Meanwhile, across town, Eli Sanders was watching Joe Fitzgibbon drink. Here's a candid shot of Fitzgibbon, also taken last night (Fitzgibbon is on the right. Please ignore the other very attractive man to his left):

Is it getting hot in here or is it just me?

Clearly, this is an issue the voters should weigh in on. To the polls!
