The resemblance may be closer than you think:

Police accidentally shot an animal control officer Thursday afternoon during a raid at a home on the city's east side.

The officer was among the authorities trying to locate several pit bulls about 4:45 p.m. in the 19000 block of Fairport, police spokeswoman Yvette Walker said.

A police officer had been trying to shoot one of the dogs when a bullet struck the animal control officer, she said.
