that's a pretty awesome pair of invisible pistols you got in that pic.

now i'm going to have to spend some time on YouTube searching for "Dan Savage". I can feel the corruption spreading to my loins already. I hope YouTube tries to save my soul with some helpfully placed ads.

No, Dan, this is good. It means that some of your fans can start dating Christian singles and begin undoing the damage wrought by years of abstinence-only education.
4
Yeah, so what is up with that tiger shirt? Is it ironic, like wearing the 3 wolves shirt? (http://jerrywalsh.org/wp-content/uploads…)
You are gay, right??

Do we know how web ad placement works? I do only vaguely. But I think a Dan fan (second only to Dan and the Pope) would rank relatively high in the number of times the WWW registers a search or topic featuring the keyword "Christian", which info gets sold to the targeting bots. The bot sees only an IP address apparently obsessed with Christian ways, and is neutral as to purpose.

Canuck, allow a reader from before you were born to explain the shirt:

1 and 3 for the wins. Also, I am grateful to the baby Jesus for Adblock.

Notice the Jesus fish swimming torpedo-like, straight for her loins. That's the kind of guaranteed success I've been looking for!
9
Christians can be freaky. Jesus never said "missionary with the lights out." No, he said "if someone strikes you, turn the other cheek." by which he clearly meant "bend over, it's spanking time!"
10
I imagine a lot of Christians follow you to fulfill their Biblically mandated need to be outraged, and offended. Otherwise their lives would be quite empty.

Hey is that University of Maryland that Dan's at in that vid? Ah, memories.

@Dwight, roflmao!
13
All the advertising money down the toilet. I love it!
14
Something about the woman in the ad... Like she's begging to take her shirt off.
15
@4: The good old Three Wolf Moon shirt attracts women. Obviously, the Growling Pectoral Tiger shirt attracts men.

@ Cannuck, I have that Growling Pectoral Tiger shirt and it gets me all kinds of attention. It is a shirt for The Stranger and they ran really small (the likely reason Mr. Kim in Portland gave it to me).

@ Dan, I've got a lot of Christian women into you. And, after they get over the shock, they love you. More evidence of my "religious swine flu". More inequality barriers start to break down. It's harder to hate what you're thankful for. Keep up the good work.

Thanks you Gus, Venomlash, Kim...my first task upon returning from a tiring day of selling thongs was to check on the tiger shirt situation...I still have trouble imagining the "cool" factor of this shirt, but it's possible I see too many people wearing the "completely serious" versions here too often, usually accompanied by a large cowboy belt buckle...oy.

Maybe it's an ad placement success: the clip is about full disclosure, and being a Christian is definitely something I would want disclosed to me.

Please wait...
