Asked and Told: Senior Obama Adviser Responds to Angry Slog Commenter's Question

Slog commenter Corydon asked why Obama feels so much contempt for the base that put him in the White House—and during our interview yesterday, I put Corydon's question to Obama senior outside adviser David Plouffe. The answer is long(ish), but given how many of our commenters sound just as angry with Obama as Corydon, I thought I'd give the guy who sold Obama to America plenty of room to explain:
