can you spell 'voter fraud'?

when democrats vote, democrats win.

I guess the hinterlands can "take that" in terms of results, but the voter turnout was even higher in Benton, Chelan, Clallam, Columbia, Douglas, Ferry, Garfield, Grant, Grays Harbor, Island, Jefferson, Kitsap, Kittitas, Klickitat, Lewis, Lincoln, Mason, Okanogan, Pacific, Pend Oreille, San Juan, Skagit, Stevens, Thurston, Wahkiakum, Whatcom and Whitman. So, y'know. Most of the state.

@3: That was the very question I had reading this post. My thanks to you -- and none to Mr. Sanders -- for saving me the time to look it up myself.

Too bad all those voters don't get that income tax is by far the best way to close the budget gap. Here are just a few things that are on the Governor's list of things to cut now:
Eliminate Children's Health Program (Medicaid ineligible)
Eliminate Basic Health Program
Eliminate highly cap. student funding (full FY 11) (gifted)

While I was not correct for my predictions of total statewide vote differential (I had Murray:Rossi at 54:46), at least I got turnout percent right - I predicted 70 to 72 percent.

Easiest way to balance the budget is set loose all MJ prisoners and stop prosecuting them - that will help cities and counties from wasting time on those too. I'd recommend the Cali rule they have in place now - and let the feds use their own cops and courts instead of helping them with our local tax dollars if they want to waste our scarce tax dollars, @5.

@3 Good for all the other counties:

http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/planning/wtp/dat…

Our 766,477 turnout is more than the baseline populations of Benton, Chelan, Clallam, Columbia, Douglas, Ferry, Garfield, Grant, Grays Harbor, Island, Jefferson, Kitsap, Kittitas, Klickitat, Lewis, Lincoln, Mason, Okanogan, Pacific, Pend Oreille, San Juan, Skagit, Stevens, Thurston, Wahkiakum, Whatcom and Whitman.

Our turnout alone is equal to 11% of the entire State population. He's right; Dems and Dem-minded independents do outnumber the other side. We're just lazy, sadly.
8
11% is a lot.......
9
Don't these people know that it's by not voting that you send a devastating message to Death, Inc?
10
The real question here is, how were 283,330 people too lazy to vote, when a ballot was mailed to their house? How hard is it to open an envelope, fill out some circles, and send it back?
11
@6 I like that Idea.

It's kind of sad that this many Democrats voted and we still managed to approve Eyman's stupid initiative.

"Too bad all those voters don't get that income tax is by far the best way to close the budget gap"

I'm sorry weren't you morons saying 1098 was going to new spending in health and education? Not for closing the budget gap? I guess 2/3 of the voters are smarter than you.

"How hard is it to open an envelope, fill out some circles, and send it back?"

Have you seen the Demicrat base? Too busy putting rims on the Civic.

"we still managed to approve Eyman's stupid initiative"

Dems on a leash. That's the beauty of being a centrist, our votes actually count.
