No. The answer we're looking for is "Han shot first".
2
Which is weird, because we most saw Greedo sitting down at Han's booth. Oh, wait, there was the opening bit where he stopped Solo from leaving the bar. Okay, so it was a think to make him roughly the same height as Harrison Ford.

Also, I imagine the cuffs on the spacesuit would chafe Greedo's feet.

Depends entirely on when it was filmed: Summer, and those beige pumps are merely somewhat dated. If it was after Labour Day, then wearing beige shoes probably indicates a deeper pathology.
4
Sensible heels are always hideous.
5
Now THIS is the proper use of Wikileaks.
6
isn't george lucas like fat now? is that whats happening to meeee?
7
anyway nice snowpants

While Paul Blake provided the voice of Greedo, Maria de Aragon was the one actually wearing the costume. I guess since they never showed Greedo's feet her choice in shoes didn't really matter?
10
Han Solo. Not Hans. You fucking twat.
12
Lucas is pretty well turned-out in this photo.
13
Adds a whole new Savage Love twist to "Han shot first".
14
Get me a similar picture of Peter Cushing in slippers, and we'll talk.

(Supposedly, the Grand Moff Tarkin Imperial Boots hurt Cushing's feet, so Lucas let him wear slippers and they didn't film him in many full shots.)
15
That's B Arthur.

Also, @ 10 is correct.
16
What's a Greedo? And who's George Lucas?
17
First, the heels don't event begin to tie in with the outfit. Second, CAMEL TOE! HELLO!?!?! Third, that vest is ill-fitting and does nothing for her figure.

Other than that, no complaints. We should never presume alien bounty hunters' gender. It only leads to trouble.

18
Somehow it's the shitty vest that bothers me most.
19
Greedo might represent the female of their race. Or heels might be the norm for males.
20
19 is right. Slog is always so humano-normative.
21
Who the fuck is Hans?
22
@20, "humano-normative" is why our sci-fi aliens always look like this -- hominids, basically, with funny-shaped ears, but still five fingers, two legs jointed at the knee and ankle, two arms jointed at the wrist and elbow. So unimaginative.
23
@22: Dalek says, talk to the stalk!

Also: Hans? Really?
24
That outfit is horrible.
25
Hey, you're assuming that those are shoes, and not just the way Greedo's feet are shaped.
26
22: I always assumed it was because humans in alien disguises are (or were) cheaper and easier than realistic non-humanoid forms.

Besides, it was a joke.
27
This sort of thing happens all the time in Hollywood. When your feet are not going to appear in the shot, you can wear whatever you want. Gritty alien bounty hunters in high heels, glamorous actresses in Uggs, hobbits in sneakers.

Please wait...
