At what will it occur?
2
What time that is...
3
More importantly, will you be dancing naked while you watch it on this fine solstice eve?
4
I'm watching the moon from my windows. Earlier due to the shifting clouds the moon looked like Groucho Marx. I'm hoping to view the sky crazies from the warmth of my apt. 1) because it is cold outside (duh) 2) because I sprained my ankle stepping off a curb on Friday night. (wacked) NASA will be broadcasting all the happenings, but that won't be as exciting.
5
If you tell us the time of the eclipse, the odds of seeing it will greatly improve independent of the weather. Just a friendly reminder.
6
It happens at 17 minutes after midnight West Coast time! I do not know why Grant Brissey hates our freedom!
7
@6 Because he's craggy?
8
Apoceclipse 2010
9
By craggy, he's blormey! Hey, get your dad to take you on a midnight plane ride above the clouds - you could do an eclipse Traffic Report and then all his flight expenses are tax deductible I'm pretty sure.
10
Naked plane ride, naked plane ride! Honour the Goddess of the Solstice!
11
Eclipse starts about 10:30. Freakish Red Moon time should be about 11:30 to 12:30, with the full eclipse happening at 12:17
12
Naked plane ride with dad! Moons Over My Hammy.
13
you will start seeing something around 11PM. It'll end around 2AM. Mostly cloudy here in Oakland CA but can see the moon peeking though the clouds. Enjoy!
14
I would have voted if there was this option.

"I'll get drunk and forget."
15
@12 ..................still laughing......!!!
16
Anyone wanting specific info about the eclipse should click here. The important events are the beginning of the partial phase (when the moon starts to disappear), the start of totality (when it completely disappears and then hopefully becomes dimly visible and red); the end of totality, and the end of the partial phase.
17
Yes we will see it damn it.
19
Spaceballs?

Oh shit, there goes the planet.

My goodness, I just peered up and there it is getting going very nicely. Thanks for the reminder of this, Grant.
22
There's an eclipse every night. In my heart. *sniff*
23
@Matt from Denver many thanks for the link.
24
Geminids were totally last week dude.
25
So, at 1:30am, I awake to screaming. Mr. Canuck has gone (for eclipse viewing) to wake the 14 year old, who, after an evening watching scary movies, screams, then Mr. Canuck screams, then...yes, it's a bloody brilliant effing eclipse, now go back to bed.

Please wait...
