Now that is good.

Eh, I don't know if it's too soon, but it's pretty weak tea as satire goes. Loughner is being held by Federal authorities on Federal charges so the State of AZ would have no say in his release.

Hell nah, no one reads the onion for class. We read it for the chuckles

If we can't laugh about it that they have won. Whoever that mysterious "they" is. That's why every year I make sure to tell my September 11th Knock Knock joke. Otherwise, "they" have won.

Hell, I'd beleive it. His lawyers may try to convice the judge to dismiss the case claiming he thought he was shooting immigrants.

Knock Knock.

Who's there?

911.

911 who?

I THOUGHT YOU SAID YOU'D NEVER FORGET.
9
Every time I dial 911, I only get the police.
10
@8, that's it!

Usually people start laughing as soon as I say, September 11th.
11
Nope.

This comment thread slayed me.
13
@12, not as much as Sarah Palin feels she's been slayed this last week.
14
@13 Hey, if all this negative press in any way, shape or form dismantles her "presidental platform" then we're golden.
15
Jokes are never too soon, as far as I'm concerned.
16
Are you sure the Onion isn't a genuine news site?
17
@16 according to my main news source, The Daily Show, they are.
18
I laughed, but I felt kind of bad about it. Does that count?

Did anyone see the new Onion send-up of Sports Center, SportsDome? It's uneven - and a lot of the jabbing of real players isn't that funny - but still, it's worth watching.

I loved the fake promo for a new TV series (on Onion Sports Network) about a baseball team that solves crime.

Also, the play-by-play calling of a meth-head's hallucination had me in stitches.

Please wait...
