I'm told that the L.A. weekly used to be a paper that meant something. These days, it's mostly an ad-rag. The only "stand" they've taken seems to be on transit mis-education.
There's a months-long stream of rhetoric that building a subway doesn't relieve traffic, and they've gotten officials to ADMIT this, so the entire thing must be a hoax. They fail to report that traffic is forecast to become much, much worse, and that the subway is to prevent this from happening while allowing job growth.
