Credit where due– Droopy helped get the DADT repeal back on track when everybody thought it was dead. But still, yeah, he won't be missed.

That's right, he isn't a Total Loss, like some. He has a few shreds of worth.

Hey, maybe he's resigning so he can run for president. That would be amusing.

Joe-mentum in 2012!

I wish he'd retired in 1998. I can't believe Gore put him on the ticket. We have his utter lack of charisma or convictions to thank for eight years of Bush. Well, that and electoral fraud.

But.. but.. he isn't done shredding the Constitution yet! Julian Assange has yet to be tried for espionage and "journalists" are still printing leaked cables like they aren't afraid of arrest! Stay Joe, we need you!

Hm. Who are we looking at to take his seat? Sometimes it's better to have a devil you know, and all that...

A lobbyist for Israel is a good paying job.

I have to grudgingly give him credit for reviving the repeal of DADT, but on the whole he has been an ass. I for one will be glad to see him go.

@6, CT is generally an independent, moderate to liberal state. So most likely they'll end up electing a moderate to liberal senator to replace him. The likelihood of some crazy teabagger replacing him is extremely low.

Please wait...
