In the Sunday paper, the Seattle Times ran a long piece about an incendiary article published in Guardian, the Seattle Police Officer's Guild newspaper, by officer Steve Pomper:

The Guardian is mailed to members and to Seattle elected officials, but concern about the article only surfaced earlier this month after the weekly newspaper The Stranger published a story about Pomper's article.

Thanks for the credit and the loud bullhorn of the ST, Lynn. And for the record, it's not just Pomper's article but a few Guardian authors I reported on a couple weeks ago that raised some hackles. Collectively, they show several Seattle cops hold controversial opinions about policing—not just one odd duck.

At the request of the police guild, links to full articles from The Guardian have been removed from this post.
