Thoroughly unwatchable.
2
"nonpartisan news service for the tea party movement" is an oxymoron on its face. But, I wouldn't expect teabaggers to understand why that would be the case.
3
What the hell? Was this done in the Second Life? It boggles my mind that anyone could even think this was a good idea...
4
"Welcome to the Tea Party News Brief, the first non-partisan news service."

These people put the "moron" in "oxymoron."
5
OTOH, she's definitely working those CUHRAAAZY "Michelle Bachmann Eyes". But, what's up with this environment? I thought Second Life died out a couple of years ago, or is this supposed to be some teabagger's idea of what the world looks like under an "Islamo-nazi-facist-librul dictator like Obama"?

@ 3/4:

DOUBLE INTERNET JINX!
7
was this made by michele bachmann's cameraman?
8
(Nerd Alert). Second Life is going strong. Speaking of which: you can adjust the "camera" for a lecturing avatar so that they don't look like they're talking to someone else.
She wasn't that critical of Obama though.
9
Looks like the sort of avatars Goreans make of their imaginary slave girls...
10
Oh, @7, right?!

Jinx on me.
11
this guy also makes some pretty sick alien porn on deviant art
12
LOL, they said "nonpartisan."
13
I hate to be vulgar, but she looks like she's doing what the parents of a neigboring toddler call "the poop dance"
14
@8 "She wasn't that critical of Obama though."

Honestly this sort of broke my brain and so I am having trouble processing what all I saw and heard here, but more than not being overly critical, it seemed they were simply trying to co-opt at least the parts that sort of worked for them and brush past the rest.

Also, was it just me, or does Ava sound more than a little black?
15
That "avatar" looks like some weird cross between a Valley Girl and Ann(orexic) Coulter, and god help me that I don't know who "she" sounds like.

Do that many Tea Bagger/Party people actually get online enough to watch SecondLife avatars give rebuttals that taste like pablum?
16
@14, agree with your last point. The phrase "rich contralto" came to mind. The stately cadence doesn't work for any kind of newsy presentation, though.

The weird left hand spasm made it look like she was periodically reaching for a holstered gun.

The whole avatar thing reminded me of a childhood toy: some kind of Krazy Kat character made up of beads strung on fishing line, mounted to a spring-loaded base. When you pressed the button in the base, the figure collapsed in a heap; when you released the button, the character would suddenly stand upright. With practice, partial button pushes, and tilting the whole thing, you could make it dance, bow, nod, or wave its arms.

This looks like Second Life/Poser porn fetishists use to make their own porn. It always makes for the worst porn ever.
18
Those eyes. So dead, so inhuman...
19
@14, quoting you quoting me: "@8 "She wasn't that critical of Obama though."

I also was confused by her seeming level-headedness. And she sounded like a woman of color to me as well.
20
Why the long pan of her crotch in the opening seconds?
21
"nonpartisan"?

I do not think that word means what you think it means.
22
You should never, ever call a member of the Tea Party a "teabagger." This is why http://bit.ly/i0QIg8
