Uh, my Mom doesn't hate "Dead Space 2".
2
Taken from "Point Blank" (of which the Mel Gibson 'Payback' was a remake) directed by John Boorman and was quite a strange film. Plus...Angie Dickinson shows her boobies!
3
That was totally awesome!
4
YEAH.
5
Who knew Lee Marvin had such a nice timbre?
6
What @3 said.

@5 actually I think it's the resonance he gets out of Angie's face. A great performer needs a great instrument.
7
Oh, god, Lee Marvin. He moistens my panties so bad.
8
I stopped watching after the second part decided to repeat more than four times. People making techno or techno-like music: You don't have to repeat everything sixteen times without changing anything.
9
Lee Marvin, takin' it like a man...
10
that's a great way to make 2 seconds of video endlessly entertaining. like that animated gif of snookie getting punched in the face.
11
7 minutes?
12
@8: The only thing you've told us in that post is that you have no idea who Steve Reich is...
13
Milk barely 5 seconds of film for almost 7 minutes. How modern arty.
14
Point Blank was a great weird movie. Both of them were terrific in it. I used to love his deep gravely voice. *swoon*

I approve.
15
Brilliance? Lay off teh meth, man.

Reich's primary modus is parallel phasing. "Clapping Music" is tabulated for two clapping performers. One goes off a beat every bar or so to create a new polyrythm, and permutes through each combination in order until it cycles back in sync again. It's SUPPOSED to be repetitive.

This is the greatest YouTube I've seen in a long while. Thank you, David!
