...it's the SUN! Did you notice its light lingering past 5 p.m. yesterday here in Seattle? It seems like a miracle.

Right now, it's cool (37 degrees—you can't call that cold or our dear friends of Slog in Denver, Canada, etc. will [somewhat understandably] freak out) with a few pretty wisps of clouds. Here's the weekend forecast:

Today: Partly sunny, with a high near 44. South wind at 6 mph becoming north.

Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 34. North wind between 14 and 17 mph.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 43. North wind around 14 mph.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 32. North wind between 4 and 7 mph becoming calm.

Sunday: A 30 percent chance of showers after 10am. Partly sunny, with a high near 45. South southwest wind between 5 and 7 mph.

Sunday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 38.

The sun sets at 5:37 p.m. today. It won't be long before it's light out until 10 p.m. and we're swimming in Lake Washington at midnight.
