Shouldn't that be Brontomerus McIntoshi?

Going to be a fun Dino Day this Friday at the Burke.

This story is disrespectful to the thighly-gifted among us.

@2 Dan must have written it.

Aaargh!

Look hyenas are BOTH predator AND scavenger.

That's why there are so many of them, and why they are so successful.

T. Rex could be both. (I mean, think of yourself as a moderate-sized carnivorous dino, 12 feet tall, 1200 lbs. You've chased down and killed an Edmontosaurus and suddenly T. Rex, who is 20 feet tall and weighs five tons walks in. What do you do? Run away, of course!)

@4 they do mention in the story that T Rex was probably an opportunistic predator... So scavenging when that's what's easy, hunting if needed.

Please wait...
