"What if you threw a Tea Party and no one came?" That's the question Caitlin Moran of the Woodinville Patch asks after only eight people showed up at the inaugural meeting of the Tea Party of Kirkland, Redmond and Woodinville.

Although attendance was low at Monday's meeting, Woody Hertzog, the state's Tea Party organizer, said the local chapter could pick up members as time goes on.

Again, you gotta wonder if Washington State Attorney General and 2012 gubernatorial hopeful Rob McKenna hitched himself to the right wagon by embracing the Tea Party after years of honing his faux-moderate image? I mean, the Tea Party sure is beginning to look like the MySpace of politics....
