We've been kvetching for the past two days about the long wait for a street-food bill to get sent to the Seattle City Council (it's been tied up for years among departments and agencies). And Fnarf even commented today, "If McGinn had any balls he'd just say 'I want something I can send to the council on my desk tomorrow morning...'"

Well, AHEM!

Seattle Department of Transportation spokesman Rick Sheridan emailed this moments ago: "The legislation was transmitted by the mayor’s office to the city council today." It's right here. As Cienna recently reported, current limits on street vending—nothing but coffee, pretzels, hot dogs, and saute of Soylent Green—will be replaced by rules that let vendors sell just about anything. Huzzah!
