Thanks for continuing to cover this. CPJ notes Parvaz is the only non-Syrian journalist among the handful yet to be released. It's a real nail-biter. My heart goes out to her family.

Why in the holy fuck, I wonder, did Al-Jazeera send her in the very day after they made a public announcement of closing their Syrian operations altogether? Couldn't they have said, er, Ms. Parvaz, we closed our bureau yesterday, don't go?
