BBC:

Since the killing of al-Qaeda chief Osama Bin Laden in the quiet Pakistani hill resort of Abbottabad, tourism to the picturesque town has declined dramatically.

"There aren't enough tourists to justify expenses. We normally stock up at the start of the season, but the killing of Osama Bin Laden has upset our plans," says a restaurant manager.

A possible solution: Make Abbottabad safe for American tourists.
