kinda starting to wonder if she wants the veep spot again. she's too chicken to run for president, but she likes the way 2008 worked out just fine. so she's maintaining her public persona and popularity, so as to look good for whatever candidate does get the nomination for president.

She's going to wait for Mitt to win the primaries, then see that the far right base isnt exactly happy with this selection, then run as a 3rd Tea Party canidate and hand Obama his re-election.

I think she doesn't plan to run (though the VP idea is possible), but this game plays into her continuing goal of maintaining her status as unaccountable political celebrity/pundit.

But somebody should really get on her about the whole lack of decisiveness about running thing. It's not a choice like strawberry or chocolate ice cream. If you can't decide firmly whether running for President, presumably because you think you can serve your country better than anyone else, how can anyone trust you to make life-and-death decisions as President?

She's not running. She has no organization. The pros think she's poison. She has the most crippling weakness of any of the candidates, she up and quit in the middle of her term as a state governor. Michelle Bachmann may be a fucking nutjob, but compared to Palin, she's the real deal, with money, a ground game, and the press (for some reason) taking her seriously.

Staying in the public eye has become Sarah Palin's job. She is good at it. She can make a shit ton more money on speaking engagements with none of the hassles and responsibilities of actually running.

I predict a Bristol Palin sex tape will be found, after which she'll come out against sex tapes and get paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to serve as spokesperson for a GOP group opposed to sex tapes. Yeah, that's the ticket!

I was gonna mention how skeeved out I am at the prospect of a Sarah Palin sex tape, but then #11 went and upped the ante. A Bristol sex tape? Eeeeew. That's just sick.
