So Charles, I sent you this two days ago, and I'm honestly curious: do you ignore SlogTIps, in which case I'll save myself the trouble in the future, or do you wait around to find a slightly different link so you can pretend to your bosses you're on top of everything and/or save yourself a few keystrokes for a h/t?

I allowed myself a pissy moment today, @8. Normally if I feel strongly about something that Slog for some [completely unfathomable!] reason ignores, I just work the link into a later thread, germane or not. I know Charles is the absentminded perfesser, but occasionally his unrelenting sloppiness (stream-of-consciousness-without-due-reflection, fucked-up links, regular failure to proofread) just burns my butt. He does sometimes acknowledge outside input, but usually at random and usually in comments.
