This story is for the morons that think not having run for elected office is an asset. People who seek office are vetted. Your past is exposed. And if it were one woman, he wouldn't answer. Now I hear there's a third woman. That's three strikes. Only thing left is to blame the media.
Cain isn't being "lynched" by anyone - he did this to himself. And continues to do it every time he opens his mouth and inserts his foot. He's toast, alright, but black or white isn't the issue. Him being a moron is.
Lynching is being taken out in the woods and hung from a tree by a group of assholes. The word "lynch" has been used in a fashion that denegrates meaning of the word and belittles the victims of those who were really lynched.
Thomas and Cain both spit in the faces and memories of those who were murdered by lynch mobs when they use the word lynch to describe uncomfortabe information being made public about their behavior.
This has nothing to do with race. It has to do with the fact that people will follow sex scandals. Plenty of white politicians deal with this crap and it has nothing to do with the race of either the man or the woman.
I'm fairly sure Clarence Thomas, even if he hates America and invented a non-existent clause in the US Constitution that says that Corporations are People and Citizens are Serfs, never paid any woman he harassed $45,000 to not have him arrested.
The only question nowadays is whether the unelected Supreme Court should be dissolved by fiat or by a corporate takeover using mercenaries ...
One distinction is that the women who felt disturbed by Cain also got settlements. There is a record, even if it was handled outside the courts. No record as such existed for Thomas.
Well, there was a settlement in at least one instance with Cain. So the bar of truthfulness has already been set. It doesn't surprise me one bit that a man in a powerful position that requires that he be somewhat charming, would also easily step over the line and sexually harass women.
It is the postion of privilage that allows them to think it's fine and dandy to do so.
What does it mean for Cain? Likely not a whole lot, but just additional evidence that this guy isn't a serious presidential candidate. He's goofy, uninformed and as disinterested in global affairs as was Sarah Palin.
His popularity is much more telling of the GOP having lost its collective mind. Happy to watch them all implode.
odd how it was that the Cain Train going off the rails was @ first blamed on the liberal media, then somehow on Perry(you know the dude with the unfortunately named family retreat), then now it is back to the nebulous liberals...
it's kinda like this opened the kk-kloset GOP door for a quick peek, just to be shut down again.
He gave an "exclusive" interview to Thomas' wife. Guess where he came up with the idea to use that phrase? I wonder if Cain's paying royalties to brother Clarence.

We're not going to have to hear about pubic hairs on someone's Coke again...are we...?
@10: that flavor would be known as Black Walnut and Ginger Swirl, right?
alas, sometime it all just writes itself.

Kind of like the word "racist" when used by angry white liberals.
