Wow, those people seem so obnoxious.

Maybe they should have tried this with the hundreds of blue collar stiffs with good paying union jobs, working at Todd yards refurbishing the rigs. They would have needed body guards.

We're up to six posts on this now?

It brought attention to a really questionnable proposal, and you're all so obviously jealous. Good old sit on your ass and criticize Seattlites.
7
@5: And it's incredibly tangled reporting as well, as Eli loves to obsseively link everything and you end up reading things twice and going in circles.
8
@6 That's right, who needs oil?
9
I like when the guy starts talking about the potentially problematic design and production of the drill at around 1:40. If true, that's informative!

And before I saw this video, I knew practically nothing about that Shell expedition. So, if the point of this stunt was to educate (at least one) more of us on the Shell project, then, well...success!*

*=N of 1.

@8, astroturf. At least you could register and pretend you're gay for Mittens.
11
@10 So you don't consume oil?
12
NOBODY FUCKING CARES!
13
I told you earlier that I don't know what this is, and don't care to find out. Why do you continue to persist?
15
tit, do you know how dependent on Mideast oil the US currently is? Less than at any time in recent memory, and soon to be almost zero.
16
@15 only thanks to expanded domestic drilling.

Btw we are no where near to 0% for Mideast or OPEC oil imports.

Good point, biffp.. Very good point.

Please wait...
