Rob McKenna, the GOP gubernatorial candidate who claims to be, like, super moderate, is flying to Colorado for a Republican Governor's Association fundraiser to hang out with the biggest right-winging nuts of them all:

The session with the RGA’s Executive Roundtable will draw such Republican luminaries as former Bush political guru Karl Rove, lobbyist and ex-Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour, and Kevin Gentry, a top political aide to billionaire conservatives Charles and David Koch.

“He (McKenna) is flying to Denver for an event that his AG colleague is hosting for him tomorrow: He will attend some RGA meetings while in Colorado, but I’m not sure which and with whom,” Charles McCray, McKenna’s chief spokesman, e-mailed late Tuesday.

Of course there is one true, bona fide moderate in this race: Jay Inslee.
