We have to slog through seven minutes of Fox "News" to get there? Ugh. No thanks.
2
Danny!

Polygamy....

Up or Down?

please set the record straight.
3
@1 - Thanks for the warning. I almost clicked on that thing. *shudder*

PS - "Thing" in this case refers to the thing on our right: the thing they call Michelle Malkin.
4
btw

this is trivial even by Danny's infantile standards.

Nothing about the fact that Obama's CounterTerrorism Director said the murder of Chris Stevens was a terrorist attack?

Not the result of a protest riot.....

That Stevens was on a terrorist hit list?

And knew it?

And spent the last weeks of his life fearing for his life?

And that Obama did not protect him?

Why didn't you post that?
5
Why isn't she out stalking children or making cheerleader videos?
6
I can't take seriously anyone who would repost ANYTHING tha was aired on Fox News. It's bad enough the channel exists...it doesn't need any additional attention paid to it.
7
That was interminable. David Brooks is mentioned around 3:50.
8
@1 is right.. start at 3:55 stop at 4:30.. and you're welcome very much..
9
Who is the rabid chihuahua to the right of Hannity?
10
Not quite sure if "drooling over the crease in Obama's pants" (not sure if I got that quote correct) means "fag" or not.
But she is seriously into the conspiracy lifestyle.
Anyone who disagreed with her before is part of a conspiracy.
Anyone who agreed with her before but disagrees now is part of that SAME CONSPIRACY.
And furthermore WHERE ARE THE MISSING MINUTES FROM THAT TAPE?!?
You know, the missing minutes that probably include Romney saying something that somehow completely invalidates the rest of the tape.

It's all a conspiracy.
11
They are such fucking clowns.
12
David Brooks used to be a canon in the right wing propagandisphere. This is what they do to their own when one of them steps out of line. Just like middle school.
13
Round table discussions? Burn 'em at the stake! - I only watched the first one and a half minutes.
14
Hannity says, towards the end, "Whether we get to the truth of the [missing minutes] before the election is irrelevant." A moment of candor: The truth is irrelevant.
15
I only made it to 1:45 before I couldn't take it anymore so maybe I completely missed the point.... Are they seriously arguing that working together for the collective good of society is a bad thing? And people agree with that sentiment? W.T.F.
17
That woman is horrible. I like how at 1:30 the Hannity fellow disgustedly references Obama's belief in "the common good", dragging out the vowels in the phrase to emphasize his disdain for such a terrible concept.
18
The more I see Michelle Malkin, the more I miss Anne Coulter.

I wish that was fully a joke.
19
@7 -- thank you. No way was I going to watch this whole fucking thing.

I did watch the first couple minutes, though, and the footage of Obama made me want to vote for him even more. Then these two ass holes came on and started talking about why this makes him dangerous for America, and I was like "oh right, THIS is why I'm never going to pay for cable fancy enough to get Fox News."

@18 -- I guess it's Malkin's moment because nobody can accuse her of looking like a man (although I've seen Filipino ladyboys who were more convincing as women).
20
Why do you link to this shit?
22
I watched the whole 7+ minutes. It's as if they live in a totally different world -- a world where innuendo means more than words and where only information that supports a theory is considered.

It's a weird, unhappy place, this Faux News.
23
@21,

Coulter has that pinched church lady face which makes it easy to believe that she's enough of a bitch to believe what she's saying.
24
What is the justification for this 7 minute reminder of bullshit mountain. While you were wordsmithing Fox News, Paul posted something that is worth watching. The Daily Show just took apart the Hannity clown car last night. It was bitter and appropriately nasty.
25
Jesus, you guys. There's so, so much to criticize about Michelle Malkin, but you focus on her appearance?
26
I can't understand how anyone can serioulsy take Obama's statements in the tape shown as proof that he is a communist. Since when has an innocuous phrase like "the common good" equaled communism or socialism? "The common good" is the force behind concepts like emminent domain. "The common good" was the motive for ideas like Manifest Destiny, and the Monroe Doctrine two of the defining policies of American nation building. Don't we have states which are actually commonwealths? The Right is really clutching at straws here, or should I say turds? They aren't just drowning, they're swirling down the toilet.
27
Maybe I'm living in an alternate universe, but WTF was that? Is there really such a disconnect in American society that there are those who think that what Obama said on that tape was objectionable? Isn't "working together for the common good" basically a definition of a society?
28
shrill and on fox news is no way to go about in life...
29
For the record (and not that it would matter one iota to the likes of Malkin), the phrase Obama used in the video in question was "common ground", not "common good".
30
26,27: Basically, since Obama doesn't wish to legally require every US citizen to give daily rim jobs to a 1-percenter, he is a filthy commie in the eyes of treat-begging right wing suckups like Malkin.
31
Wasn't it David Brooks who was molested by Lindsey Graham?
32
They keep referring to the "disastrous present". Is the current state of the country more of a disaster that it would have been under a McCain/ Palin administration ? What would they have done differently ? What will Romney do to correct this supposed state of disaster ? More tax cuts ? Bigger military budget ? Cutting the social safety net ? Privatize all government agencies and programs ? Tax the poor ? Why wont any of these conservatives just explain how their awesome policies would be better that what's being proposed (and blocked by republicans in congress) by the President ?
33
Turn off the TV, Dan and get to work!
34
That was seriously amazing to sit through. Seven minutes of Malkin flapping her lips, and it was 100% vitriol, disdain and name-calling, and zero percent actual, factual content.
35
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH MY BRAIN IS ON FIRE!!!! Since WHEN is being a fan of the Civil Rights movement a CRIME?? Some kind of EVIDENCE OF EVIL COMMUNISM?? They are truly evil. Making evil sludge from what any sane human being would find admirable. ugh. Gives me the shivers.
36
I watched the Obama clip, and grew confused, as there's nothing really Fox Newsable about that tape -- remember the democratic tradition, people need to work together, the greatness of the American spirit, yaddayaddayadda. How the hell does this make Obama look bad? I thought.

Oh silly me, I replied to myself once the talking heads began. Apparently collectively working for the common good and meeting each other halfway is code for comminazi.

Also, Malkin is terrible, but let's please not bring looks into it. Who the fuck cares how the woman looks, she'd be terrible whether she looked like Heidi Klum or the Elephant Man.
37
Sexists
38
@21: "Malkin always phones in her fake outrage. At least Ann Coulter sounds legitimately angry, but that is probably because she is dead on the inside."

Nope. She's smart and a total faker (she shtupps Dems, and not in a creepy Carville/Matlin way.) She doesn't believe what she says.
39
I never watch Faux News. I already know what they're going to say. "Obama is a bad man. He's a communist, socialist, foreigner, Muslim Kenyan. Blah Blah Blah".

Why don't they spend time explaining why Romney would make a better President outside of "he's not Obama"? Perhaps he would be polling better if the Rightwing were actually trying to sell him instead of bringing down Obama.

Please wait...
