Either this is very, very bad, or the AP joins the team of news institutions that have completely obliterated their credibility. I hate to say it, AP, but I'm really hoping for the latter.

@11, Dan tweeted it an hour ago. Watch the twitter feed for Stranger Staffers (in a panel on the right for most browsers) - that's where most of the Slog action is these days.

@13: It does kind of sound like a person with news organization skills...By mentioning two explosions rather than just one, and by saying Obama is "injured" rather than dead, it has just enough detail to feel initially like it might be true. So while this was perpetrated by a sick, pathetic fuck, it's a somewhat clever sick, pathetic fuck.
