Wow!

In what appears to be a rather massive violation of the freedom of religion, the Republican party in Indiana appears to have amended the state criminal code to either make it a crime, or confirm that it remain a crime, for clergy to conduct weddings for gay couples.

John Aravosis at Americablog has much more on this. So much for the conservative argument that gay marriage will force religious people into doing something they don't want to do; Indiana just proved that conservatives are all about forcing clergy into supporting their agenda.
