That's pretty goddamn amazing.
2
LMK when one of the hot ones endorses her. Preferably with his shirt off.
3
Obafemi is cool. Sounders are so lucky to have him.
4
He usually is cool, not a cool move this time bro.
5
Can a Nigerian vote?
6
@4 The man's entitled to his opinion.
7
Scarves up Sounders, scarves up!
8
Shouldn't that be "the left thing"?
9
So as rich man (Martins made €600,000 in 2012), does Mr. Martins approve of taxing, say, 80% of his wealth? That would be appropriate rate for a member of the 1% wouldn't you say?
10
Please. The man has three kids from three different women. I'd rather see him holding up a box of condoms with the caption "Obafemi does the right thing" than an Sawant flyer.
11
Any exciting endorsements from the American side?
12
wow, africa is large.
13
*swoon*

Oops. Sorry. Were we talking about politics? I got distracted just for a moment.
14
@10, you're dismissing the political enthusiasms of a 29-year old who's been an international footballer for thirteen years now, on account of perhaps having been…wait for it...sexually profligate? Stop the presses.

And for the sake of argument, any evidence he hasn't done right by any of his kids? Yeah, didn't think so.
15
I just wish he'd come out in favor of starting tomorrow against Portland. We paid a lot for his services; I'd like to see them sometime soon.
16
So Sawant has just received the endorsement of a Nigerian millionaire, member of the 1% and self proclaimed baby daddy?

Whoop dee fucking dooo…
17
@14 no doubt! Mr. Martin's inability to use condoms and spawn kids all over the place makes him an ideal Sawant voter. However, as a member of the 1%, would Mr Martin accept say a 90% tax rate on his million dollar salary?
18
what @15 said in spades
19
I miss seeing backflips!

Just a note, for the people talking sh*t about him with that "baby daddy" stuff (implying that he's immoral)...
While playing for AC Milan, at the ripe age of 19, he found a dozen or so children sitting in a subway station begging for change. They had come from africa to Italy as illegal refugees, but instead of finding a better life they found homelessness.

Mr. Martins was apparently moved by this since he ASKED THEM ALL TO LIVE WITH HIM. He adopted all of them, and later sent them to college. One of these kids is still living with him.
While interviewing Mr. Martins about this odd situation, a sports writer asked him "why did you do this?" to which he responded "Why wouldn't I?"

I would link to this but I don't know how. It's easily googled though, if you have doubts.

Next time you want to talk sh*t about Oba's morals, ask yourself, "what would I do if I had a few million?" If the answer isn't "Adopt a bunch of kids at westlake!", then just STFU.

Please wait...
