"It's such an American movie that I think it ought to be screened in public every 4th of July."

That's a super-riffic idea little boy Paul!

The Dymaxion was a terrible car that Fuller kept rebuilding and redesigning but never could get it to stabilize.

You can it add to the list of things conspiracy theorists believed to have been "suppressed" but which actually sucked in real life (and yes, that was intentionally written to sound like the title of a Cracked article).

For once I agree with Bailo. Cool (-looking) design on paper but not as an actual vehicle. Fuller was an endearing crank, "smart but not wise", as the formerly leading proponent of geodesic homes described those homes after disillusionment.

The Can-Am reverse trike seems stable.

But the Reliant Robin sounds a note of caution:

All I know is that my high school marketing teacher would put on Tucker when he didn't feel up to it that day. I'm pretty sure I've seen it at least three times.

@4 The Can-Am steers conventionally via the front wheels, and has onboard computerized gyrostability.

Reportedly they drive a lot like a snomobile- heavy but responsive steering, aided by the driver shifting his or her weight.

Buckminster Fuller's Dymaxion was weird, but if you have a few minutes for some really weird three-wheel weirdness, I give you the Dale. You're welcome.
