It's only a "waste of time" if the activity in question isn't one that the politician believes people should be put in jail for.

Of course, pretending that this is about the brain-dead reactions of partisan conservatives makes it easy to completely ignore the rank hypocrisy it takes to support jailing people for activities you once enjoyed.

This is, after all, a woman who, despite the mass murder and mayhem fueled by the war on drugs, said that drugs should not be made legal "because there is just too much money in it." And that's the exact level of intellectual fortitude one finds from the conservatives who hate her so much.

@14 The republicans are desperate for anything out of the ordinary. They will lose yet another election cycle and wonder why. If the republican lawmakers spent more time trying to fix what's wrong in Govt. instead of spending time and $ in an attempt to slam the sitting President, maybe they would gain some trust and credibility with the voters. No sympathy for them.
