Man, I find the unabashed spite & extroverted bitterness kinda refreshing. I'm gonna go ahead & throw my support and endorsement in his corner! Unfortunately, I have no friends or influence (and I live down in Portland, so I don't know how much sway I'll have) but I am 100% ON BOARD!

Man that dude missed his opportunity. All he needed to do was outline his plan to eradicate the deadly scourge of dogs in grocery stores and Frizzelle would have a "I Heart Hartmann" sandwich board on right now.

Oh, or maybe "Edible Arrangements" is the name of a particular store, in which case "arrangements" should be capitalized. Either way, clarity was lost (well, at least to me).

I've often found grammatical corrections to be the end-all for 'this conversation's over'. Well-played SLOG . . . unless old Gus responds by showing up with those chunky glasses and a slim firearm at the Stranger office--at which point, a retraction would be in order.

It is really his own fault for not knowing what he was getting into with The Stranger. A white male tech guy? That is three strikes. He should have known that no matter what he did he was going to get eviscerated.

Well, let's test his theory:

In other words, he was exactly exemplifying the problem he supposedly launched his candidacy to combat. We were not pleased, and after a bit of a verbal thrashing, Hartmann admitted that showing up and wasting our time was "literally the least I could do." You got that right, Gus. Christ, what an asshole.

@17 - I work with the guy. He has BPD (Borderline Personality Disorder) and is just a little narcissistic. About 5 years ago he bought his way out of a DUI conviction, but still spent a night in jail.

He is the worst representation of techies in this city, or anywhere.
