D. Uh, no. Unless your face starts at your shoulders.
2
I have been going bra-less all my life and I still have wrinkles.
3
The daily, lifelong, low-grade discomfort of a bra MUST contribute to stress, no? -Or maybe I'm just ornery lately because I happen to have Shingles along/underneath my bra-strap-. Sorry.
4
@3: ouch! Hope you are over it soon. I assume you are under 60? I've had several relatives and friends under 50 (all women) get shingles and have tried to get the vaccine, to no avail. The incidence curve climbs steadily in middle age--I wish they would change the vax policy.

First saw that phrase on the reader board of the Lusty Lady on 3/17/199?. Other side said,"Nobody's wearing green."
6
I'm not a woman or anything, but I suspect that the daily, lifelong, low-grade discomfort of a bra must pale compared to the daily, lifelong, low-grade discomfort of not wearing a bra.
7
What about "brah - less" by ceasing to call my surfer buddies "brah?"
8
What does Erin think?

As a lifelong heterosexual male, I stand foursquare in opposition to bras during the summer months.
10
#6 - not really? There are a lot of different things you can wear that provide support. I only wear bras for extreme formal occasions or job interviews. I hate those fucking things on so many levels.
11
@10 - Ah, if I may... There are a lot of different things that *you* may be able to wear that provide support, but those of us sporting double-Gs need the damn bra.

And @9 - yeah, because that under-boob flop sweat is just soooo appealing. Eurgh.

For once, I find myself agreeing with fetish @6.

The Science is Settled!

Bras Make Breasts Sag, 15-Year Study Concludes

women who never wore bras had nipples on average seven millimeters higher in relation to their shoulders each year than regular bra users.

7 mm perkier....oooo....

Pics, or it didn't happen.

@12, not exactly a real "scientific" study it seems. Maybe the ladies can inform if women are more likely to go bra-less if there's less breast tissue (which could contribute to less downforce sag), because nothing in the study suggests that was controlled for (or a randomized assignment to bra or bra-less).

Don’t Burn Your Bra for Science Just Yet

Rebecca Watson

Mary Brock found what appeared to be the oldest source: an interview Rouillon participated in with a student radio station. So it appears that by “published a study,” CBS News and other outlets actually meant, “spoke on the radio.” A fine distinction, I’m sure you’ll agree.

@12, maybe their shoulders sank.
16
@4, thanks, that's nice. I'm 44 and this is like my 3rd time getting it. I think this is even the second time getting it in this dermatome. But mine does recede pretty quickly compared to what I've heard from others.
17
@12 hahaha... for a typical woman who starts wearing bras at what... age 13 or so? Check in 15 years later, their boobs sag more. It must be because of the bra!

18
@11 word. Bras may be the tools of today's patriarchy, but imagining a world in which there were no bras... I don't imagine men racing to invent them. And you don't need double-G's to prefer the support!

Please wait...
