Westlake Park?

Much too small a venue for this.
2
Who the hell thought Westlake Park was a big enough venue to support the many thousands of Bernie fans that will show up for this. This is very poor planning. Move this thing to the Center at least.
3
I agree, this needs to be in Key Arena. Seattle will easily fill 17,459 seats.

Y'all, he's having a rally in the evening, 6-8pm, venue to be determined. He's doing BOTH events, sign up online ASAP!

Silly to complain about Westlake. Get there early and do a little shopping and have an espresso.
7
Bernie is playing Nader in this election. We all know how that turned out last time.

@4 Thanks for the Fox News attitude.

But, you're wrong. SS isn't 'bankrupt,' because people keep paying into it all the time. No, what's bankrupt is the morality of the politicians who steal that money (your money) by doing things like, oh, starting a war in Iraq and funneling the cash into Halliburton and ....? Who knows? Over a trillion dollars disappeared, and dumbfucks like you don't care at all, you're too busy calling social security a 'ponzi scheme.' What an idiot.

@4 and @8 ( I'm assuming it's the same person) I'm not sure where you received the fiction you are spouting about Social Security but you should go back and check the validity of your sources, you know to make sure its not the Onion or Pat Robertson. To hold your short attention span I'll keep this history lesson brief. Until 2010 Social Security took in more payroll taxes than it paid out in benefits. Thus amassing a surplus which was borrowed from by the rest of the government. From now on Social Security can collect on those borrowed funds and be solvent for decades to come.

Holy crap you are one misinformed wing-nut. I was unable to find a single so called "Very hard, disquieting fact" hidden anywhere beneath all of that useless rhetoric.

Please reference this brief report. -> http://www.cbpp.org/research/what-the-20…

Tl;dr (I feel reasonably safe in assuming you won't read it or if you do you'll question the author's integrity or knowledge on the subject or any other boneheaded tactic that you might be able to employ to rationalize your already firmly held, false beliefs.) Social Security isn't the problem, the rest of the government is.

Mistral, it's a good thing you are a sad fucking loser spouting right-wing troll posts on a blog rather than an actual economist with any kind of real power because that garbage you keep spewing keeps getting debunked. Over and over and over.

Incidentally the deficit scaremongering is also past its sell-by date.

So while ad-hominem attacks are probably a low blow, go fuck yourself and crawl back into the hole you emerged from. Or at least shut the fuck up when grown people are talking.

if we could only get all those "dutch sandwitchers" ( Google Apple and other corportations), to pay their taxes that would solve lots of things in the country in a matter of months... What is the point of storing trillions of dollars in the bermudas... in a computer ??? I would call those shareholders :"hoarders"... they should see a mental specialist....

@mistral
Funny how the Chinese and so many others keep buying those crummy "IOUs", aka US govnmt bonds.

@mistral
We gotta destroy the system in order to save it!
Yes, brother, preach your weak lungs out!

Please wait...
