Three people can keep a secret...
2
Rupert Holmes soothes many of life's irritations.

I think the people who *really* are sweating right now are the people - okay, mostly men - who a) have some level of fame or notoriety, or b) have lots of money, and therefore can be second-stage blackmailed by anyone who figures the rich guy's wife isn't going to check the list, or c) whose marriages are in trouble, and therefore their wives are likely to check.

I think anyone who doesn't fit any of those criteria doesn't have too much to worry about. Mainstream media outlets aren't going to download and host the data, and no one is going to download and search 32 million records for shits & giggles.

This is the first song that came to mind when I saw the article.

You can't not tap your feet & hum along to this. ☺

My mom used to say "if you wouldn't want it published on the front page of the New York Times, you shouldn't be doing it." Media changes, but good advice stays the same.

Maybe a miniscule number of wannabe cheaters merit happy endings. But a mandatory deduction to Mr Savage for advancing Rupert Holmes instead of Kate Bush.

What about criminals going through the financial data, looking for accounts to steal from?

And doesn't this smell like a bunch of self-righteous, holier-than-thou types trying to punish sinners? Who will they target next?

@ 4 - I can. I hate Stevie Wonder's post-70s "work".

@9: Honestly. I doubt it'll stop their faithful who themselves operate "immorally" according to their own decrees, just not selectively in same-sex scenarios.
11
@1: Only two can keep a secret if one of them is dead.

This reeks of "women are liars and won't fuck you and I paid this site and no one fucked me!" Petulant man-children.
13
@12: Hardly. It's more "Chaos reigns!"

Was that the real Village People.. Wow.
Yes, the fantasy of the zipless fuck.

I feel sorry for all the women whose real names are Ashley Madison.

Please wait...
