A falling dollar has some benefits, it makes our exports cheaper making manufacturing in the country more profitable. It does make imports more expensive, but since a huge number of our imports come from Canada (the loon is falling too) and China (who still pegs their currency to the dollar) they won't change much in price

Slog does okay on celebrity news about Obama, but falling down on real news: Nothing on Duncan for education or Salazar for Interior. And who'll get Transportation and give us billions for our projects, Ron Sims maybe?

On Obama's formerly secret dwelling in DC: it was mentioned recently he's had an apartment somewhere there the last few years.

PC does have a point about limited coverage of Arne Duncan on Slog....

But, "formerly secret dwelling"? What? As Non said, in that 60 minutes interview, the Obamas talked about the apartment and how crappy it was...

I've been commenting for a couple of years #22 and I just can never understand what side PC is on. Then again I never read the essays that it writes, so.

It was clear that it was a crazy Clinton puma there for a while, but other than that I have no idea.
