You know it's confirmation bias that is making you hate the world, Mr. Savage? If you looked at these events objectively -- that is statistically -- you'd probably find them decreasing, or at least holding steady. These Google Alerts you rely on are giving you a horribly distorted view of the world.

I imagine the friend being like "A video? I wonder what this could be?" and popping it into their player. The look on their face must have been priceless.

Society is soaked in pornography but after a while to keep getting a thrill you have to up it a notch and soon you have (lots of) people into all kind of depraved things like bestiality or kiddie porn. Plus half the kids out there now think it is cool to make their own porn and post it.
