Wowza!
This is something I've been dreaming about for years. Seriously.
I (heart) Hope and think she deserves her own movie (in addition to the Mulholland Dr. cameo.)
Thank goodness Rena is alive and well - last I heard David was worried she had dropped out of society. How terrific that you are in touch with each other so we can get the full scoop on this exciting project. Please keep us posted, darlin'.

One of the funniest things I ever heard happened at the theater when I went to see Showgirls. Two young women were sitting in front of me and nearly cried when Nomi was told that she was to be the lead dancer for that night's show. "Oh my god, she didn't even get to rehearse!" the earnestly gasped with no trace of irony.

I find that makes me laugh every time I think of the film and now consider it a comedy.
